An illustrated silent script to promote the right of children to have their own dreams. I am proud of creating illustrations that provide commentary on social issues. The concept is to demonstrate how words and thoughts are powerful and can inflict harm on vulnerable members of society when used in the wrong way, even unintentionally. Because it’s easy to dismiss a child’s dreams as being unrealistic, parents, teachers and friends may sometimes extinguish someone’s dreams and aspirations by responding negatively. This storyboard aims to tell children that it’s okay for them to have dreams and see themselves in a future that they imagine.
